DAY 2: HANOI – MAI CHAU<\/strong><\/p>\n

Picked up by our tour guide and driver from your hotel lobby. Travel to\u00a0Mai Chau<\/strong>, a small town nestled in the midst of a lust valley surrounded by emerald-green rice fields.<\/p>\n

Along the way you can relax and enjoy the views of the amazingly scenic landscape, littered with pagodas and rural villages. We\u2019ll stop for a quick visit to a Muong tribal community, before continuing on through\u00a0Thung Khe Pass<\/strong>, where you\u2019ll get to enjoy the most spectacular views of Mai Chau Valley.<\/p>\n

After lunch in Mai Chau, it\u2019s time to get off the tourist track and start our trek along the Song Ma River. As you walk, you\u2019ll be constantly surrounded by rice terraces and small villages, letting you truly discover the natural beauty of the valley, and also giving you the chance to experience the culture of the White Thai people, who live in the region.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll stop in one of these\u00a0Thai villages<\/strong>\u00a0for a home-cooked meal with a local family and an overnight stay in their home. There will also be live dance and music performances for you to enjoy in the evening.

DAY 3: MAI CHAU – HANOI<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a simple breakfast with your host family, we will drive you to the village of\u00a0Son La<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En route we\u2019ll make several stops at various villages inhabited by\u00a0H\u2019mong<\/strong>,\u00a0Thai<\/strong>,\u00a0Muong<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Dzao<\/strong>\u00a0people, as well as an orchard and tea plantation on the\u00a0Moc Chau Plateau<\/strong>, famous as the powerhouse of Vietnamese tea production. The total drive to Son La from Mai Chau will be about 200 kilometres, and we\u2019ll arrive just in time for a late lunch.<\/p>\n

After lunch and some rest, we continue along the winding mountain roads through North Vietnam\u2019s stunning countryside.<\/p>\n

On arrival in Hanoi, you will check-in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

DAY 4: HANOI \u2013 NINH BINH<\/strong><\/p>\n

Get picked up by our tour guide and bus at your hotel and then depart for\u00a0Bai Dinh pagoda<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Trang an eco-tourism<\/strong>\u00a0attraction area (120kms south of Hanoi).<\/p>\n

Arrive in Buddha Sanctuary place of Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest one in Vietnam with 500 Arhan statues. You can see a biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. Tour guide also gives you an introduction of beliefs and religions in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Have lunch in a local restaurant with some special dishes such as goat meat, pork storage vessel\u2026<\/p>\n

Leave for Trang An eco-tourism attraction. You will be amazed by neglected area while having\u00a0boat trip<\/strong>\u00a0through cave chains:\u00a0Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Sinh Cave<\/strong>\u2026experiencing mysterious views of the so-called \u201cHa Long Bay in land\u201d.<\/p>\n

Keep going to visit\u00a0Mua Cave<\/strong>\u00a0(Dancing Cave). The place attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps, here you can see all the way to Tam Coc, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river.
\nStay overnight in Ninh Binh<\/strong><\/p>\n

DAY 5: NINH BINH \u2013 HANOI<\/strong><\/p>\n

This morning, after the chilling breakfast, start your fun\u00a0bicycle ride<\/strong>\u00a0to Tam Coc. You cycle on paved roads, through rice fields and local agricultural villages. Most of the bicycle ride is on a peaceful inter-communal routes where the traffic is not too busy. Then, enjoy hours of excursion by small boat along the\u00a0Ngo Dong River<\/strong>, beginning at the village of Van Lam and proceeding through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst towers. The route includes floating through\u00a0Tam Coc<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the three natural grottos (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba),<\/strong>\u00a0the largest of which is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water. The boats are typically rowed by one or two local women who also sell embroidered goods.<\/p>\n

Have a Lunch at a local restaurant with the local specialilties and transfer to Pu Luong.<\/p>\n

One glance at the Pu Luong Nature Reserve and you\u2019ll see why the ethnic Thai people made this enchanting valley their home long ago.<\/p>\n

Free and take a leisure time in Puluong for the rest day.
