Hung Tho\u00f2ng<\/a> is a cave system located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in central Vietnam. It is known for its vast underground river, which is one of the largest in the world. The cave system is also home to many unique rock formations, including stalactites and stalagmites. The exploration of Hung Tho\u00f2ng requires a multi-day trekking trip through the jungle and camping at the base camp near the underground river. The trip offers a challenging adventure and a chance to experience the beauty of the cave system and the surrounding natural landscape. 8:00 Pick up from Jungle Boss office for trekking briefing<\/p>\n

8:30 Depart along Road 20 Victory to the starting point at km17<\/p>\n

9:00 Start trekking through the jungle to explore Hung Thoong<\/p>\n

10:30 Stop at the 250m deep Nightmare sinkhole<\/p>\n

11:00 Continue trekking to the Hung Thoong spring<\/p>\n

12:00 Picnic lunch on the way<\/p>\n

13:00 Arrive at the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

14:00 – 17:00 Explore Hung cave and Tron cave, swim 1.2km through Tron cave<\/p>\n

17:00 Set up camp by the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

18:00 – 21:00 Enjoy the first jungle dinner by the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

8:00 Breakfast and prepare for exploring Hung Thoong<\/p>\n

9:00 – 11:00 Trek along the Nuoc Mooc stream to explore the Hung Thoong waterfalls<\/p>\n

11:30 Have lunch and swim in the Nuoc Mooc stream<\/p>\n

13:00 – 15:00 Explore Thung cave<\/p>\n

15:00 – 16:30 Trek back to the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

17:00 Set up camp by the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

17:00 – 18:00 Swim and bathe in the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

18:00 – 21:00 Enjoy the second jungle dinner by the Nuoc Lan lake<\/p>\n

8:00 Breakfast at Nuoc Lan basecamp
\n9:00 Trekking through the jungle to get Ma Da valley
\n12:00 Arrive at Ma Da lake for lunch and swim at the lake
\n13: 30 Start trekking to Ho Chi Minh road
\n15: 00 Arrive at Ho Chi Minh road, jumgle Boss bus picks you up and transfer to jungle Boss Headquarter. Having dinner and traveling to Hanoi.<\/p>\n

Note: What to bring
\n– Two sets of long trousers and long -sleeved-shirt to avoid poison ivies and mosquitoes
\n– Two sets of changing clothes for the nights at basecamp
\n– Swim wear
\n– Two pairs of long socks
\n– Small backpack
\n– Sandals or flip-flops and extra clothes
\n– Dry bag (optional)
\n– Hiking shoes (optional) or can borrow from Jungle Boss
