In its heyday, Cu Chi was specially designed as a multi-purpose tunnel system used as a residential area, a warehouse, and a command center. However, the violent past has been erased by the peaceful idyllic rice fields with ducks and buffaloes living happily. In the morning, visit the tunnels and watch a short video about how the tunnels were built. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels.
