The mountain locates in Sang Ma Sao commune, Bat Xat, it is about 60 km away from the center of Sapa town. The name Nhiu Co San in the H\u2019Mong ethnic language means \u201cbuffalo horns\u201d, according to the image of a mountain with two peaks rise up in the sky, Y Cong is like a big buffalo horn. This is one of the highest mountain top in Vietnam and it is a challenge to many trekkers. With an altitude of 2,965 m above sea level and soil and climate conditions, Nhiu Co San\u2019s plants grow fast and have a clear stratification according to altitude.<\/p>\n

There is a growth layer of shrubs and grass, alternating with cliffs at the foot of the mountain This trekking trail is difficult to make in a long road, there are many vertical and slippery rocky slopes, sometimes you have to cross the forest, and sometimes you need to crawl up but what you gain is not only cloud hunting time, but also diverse and colorful things on the way up.<\/p>\n

The maple leaves here are 5-petal shape in temperate countries that is so different from the maple leaves in the northeastern provinces such as Quang Ninh, Cao Bang\u2026. to get to Nhiu Co San, Cu Nhu San, you can travel by material or motorbike from the center of Sang Ma Sao commune to the foot of the mountain and then start the journey of climbing about 20 km long.
